‘Mad Catch’ is the latest single from South London artist Heartworms. The artist describes the track as being “about online dating but can be portrayed in many ways of human relationships and how awkward and diabolical it can be.” Musically, the track continues to show off her ability to blend a post-punk vibe with catchiness and pop. There are elements of Depeche Mode finding their way into the sonic universe, blending with an off-kilter sense of rhythm and dissonance and a gift for uniquely presented hooks and melodies. Heartworms’ debut album, Glutton For Punishment, is out now on Speedy Wunderground, and you can catch her on tour around the UK and Europe this February and March. -Dan Peeke
